Greetings. I am a Caregiver and also a Direct Support Professional. I've been in the field for 18 years. I am able to adjust to all people. Being that everyone has different medical conditions. I love this field of work because I have the opportunity to someone life better and help them feel secure about their situation. Rather if it's just companionship or cooking the a good meal. I am proud to be in this field because it motivated me to be greater and move further up in the business. It most definitely helped me accomplish goals that I have set in place.

I have 25 years experience working in Home Care and also Directed Care in group home setting. I recognize the need for discretion, tact, patience and good judgement. I'm committed too go above and beyond too deliver the outstanding quality of care that is deserved.

I am very compassionate I'm helping other who are in need of help. I love providing companionship and putting smiles on my clients faces. I know sometimes we all just need a friend we can sit down and just laugh and talk with.

I love helping the elderly I've been doing it since I was 16. That is my passion to help someone. I can say that every client or patient loved and liked me a lot. I do a good job go above and beyond. I treat the elderly like that was one of my grandparents.

I'm a 52 year old male, with 5+yrs as an STNA. I've taken care of male, and female clients who all usually asked for me specifically. So i do respectfully apply for jobs that may prefer females. Only because i've VERY successfully cared for both M/F. This type of work is very specific, and requires dilligence 100% of the time. I enjoy this work for many reasons, but the biggest is to provide comfort, safety, and make my clients, your loved ones feel like they have my trust, and i'll earn theirs.That happens out of the utmost respect, kindness, patience, and highest level of care. Sometimes clients, residents just want to talk to you if you have positive energy, they detect that from caregivers. I'm not gonna write 1,000 words to describe how much i love this field of work. It's work that some can do, some can't, i'm outgoing, funny, happy and very approchable, and sociall. I have a 26yr old daughter, and a 19yr old son those are pretty much my friends, my life, my greatest blessing, achievements. Due to the fact they're really great people. I also take care of my mother who,s gonna be 80 in april, she has a benigne ping pong size brain tumor that has her 80% blind. My fathers 75 and has major arthritis but i kept them in their home, it's a sacrafice that i do happily. My kids do come to care for my parents when i'm working. I became a caregiver to help others and to give them something to look forward to. When you're sick a simple smile means a lot. What I like most about caregiving is the smile or thank you I get from my patients. And knowing I helped that person feel better. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is my education in healthcare and compassion for others. I am a very giving person and a very honest person. I'm also a hard worker and willing to please. Doing what's best for my patients is most rewarding for me. Knowing there are good and honest people out there willing to help.

What makes me a great caregiver is my bubbly personality and my willingness work! I became a caregiver when I was 19 because I grew up watching my mother and listening to how proud the job made her. I wanted a rewarding career like that so i went for it. I have achieved a lot in my 9 years as a caregiver and i am most proud of the diverse capabilities and experience i have in the medical field!

I've been doing home care for about 16 years. I grown this passion for home care after my father fail sick and had no one to depend on. The most I enjoy about home care is seeing the joy in the faces of the client.

I became a Cna after taking care of my grandmother before she died from cancer. There was something so fullfilling about being able to give her care at her home in her last days. I have now been a cna for over 10 years. The hardest part of the job to me is not getting attached. I have a big heart and every patient I have ever had has been considered family to me.

I'm a 43 year old woman with decades of good experience in all capacities of care giving. I had been caring for people and animals all my life. It gives me joy and a sense of self worth to help someone or something & to make someone's day brighter, ease the pain and put a smile on their heart is what I shrive to do.
