Being a caregiver for over 10 years has taught me to have empathy and sympathy towards others. I pay attention to details as it relates to my senior clients. I am passionate about being a caregiver because senior citizens, to me, are the forgotten generation and I want them to feel loved and to know that their later days can be great. I enjoy giving seniors a better quality of life, I sing to them, dance with them and give them hugs on a regular. I am always honoured to hear that my voice and my presence creates a calm soothing atmosphere for my clients and their family. Being a caregiver is so rewarding in countless ways!!!
I like to make a clients day better no matter what it takes. I want to be able to make their like just a little better. What attracted me to do this work was seeing how I can help someone, what can I do make their life a little more comfortable. It brings me joy to see clients feel better after giving them care and making their situation a little more bearable in their time of discomfort. I was working at a assistant living facility and they ask me to be night supervisor. They recognized my skills and asked if I was interested in the position. I was honored to take the position. I was always complemented on how I handle stressful situations.

I have a lot of empathy and compassion with each of my patients. I have a habit of putting myself in another's place and totally understanding how important it is to not only be able to communicate well but also provide the best quality of care with all of my patients and that is what makes a very loyal and dedicated Person.

I've worked in the nursing profession for the past 15 years. My nursing experience has been primarily with elderly patients. I really enjoy working with older patients and find it to be both challenging and the rewarding. As you know, ensuring the wellbeing of patients, particularly the elderly, can be very difficult. However, if one exhibits compassion, empathy, and genuineness when caring for patience, then one will be able to build strong support and a trusting relationship. I truly believe that I would be a strong candidate for the open position you have open at the time. I am available to work any shift including holidays and emergencies. Thank you so much for considering my credentials and potentially being a part of your successful family.
