I've been a CNA & ERtech for 20+ years from hospitals, home-care,hospice to schools,no job is too small or large if there's a need I can fill or fit into. My mother was an RN that owned a large senior day care that I grew up in, in her twilight years I became her caregiver so I've been on both sides of the 'caregiver' role, I know how hard it is to find a good match and how important dependability, honesty and a compassionate heart is. I've remained in this role all these years because I genuinely love history and people to me are the ultimate living walking history especially seniors. I've won many awards but I'm most proud when I'm able to bring comfort or a smile to someone. I have many references letters and awards, can provide all at interviews my hourly rate is negotiable depending on hours, pay is negotiable.

Hello & I hope you're doing well. My name is Mare & I was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. My interest in care giving began in 1982 when I gave birth to my daughter. Tiffany was born @ CMC w/ no right kidney & only a piece of a left kidney. That's when my caregiving actually began, however I had always wanted to be a nurse. Tiffany had several episodes of heart failure, as well as many seizures. I took the opportunity to learn as much as possible in order to help her in every way I could. Tiffany and I were referred to The Children's Hospital of Alabama where I was taught how to perform peritoneal dialysis. I treated her with paritoneal dialysis in my home for approximately one year. At that time, doctors decided she had to have a transplant. At 18 months, Tiffany was given one of my kidneys. She was put on a great deal of medications and there was a lot of care given to her over her lifespan of 28 years. After Tiffany's passing, I followed my interest in caregiving by working at a hospital as well as an assisted living company. I am a very friendly, patient & caring person who has been taught how to deescalate issues if they arise. I have received my Covid Vaccine, and I have the flu vaccine every year. I am very proud to say I have worked taking care of patients In the hospital and surgery centers and I was asked to help someone in there home becoming there private caregiver and was there for 4 years and I continued to have the passion for caring for people. I am a passionate person who loves and enjoys helping others, especially elderly. I care greatly about helping them live independently in their homes while they are able to. I have started in the nursing career since I was 16 years. I worked in nursing homes, assisted living and private homes. I have been a part of end of life stages for those that have been diagnosed with cancer. i assisted the families as much as I could while caring for their loved one during the hardest times.

I pride myself on being a great caregiver, I love tending to people and their needs. Especially ones who are unable to do for themselves. I am very alert and aware of my patients body language, i listen to them when they tell me something and try to understand why they feel that way. I work really hard to my best caring for patients, one reason being I love what I do and the second is I would want someone to do the same for my parents or grand parents. I enjoy the peace it brings the patient and myself the most within my job.
