Hello, my name is Lyndsay. I am 25 years of age with 10 years of Caregiving experience. I am an upbeat, energetic, and friendly person to all. You will find that i am an organized, independent, hard-working, and reliable indvidual. I take great pride and happiness in taking care of others and helping anyone in need. When something needs to be done, I'll be the first on the job. I started out taking care of my grandmother at a young age. After she passed, I moved to where I now currently have a veteran neighbor whom I help when needed. I was employed by a family on weekends for a gentleman with dementia for almost a year up until his passing. I have many years of experience with Caregiving , elderly and youth. Also, I like to keep things clean and neat when at someone's home. Labor work doesn't bother me at all. If it needs to be done, I can do it. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, and errands are expected and easily done.

I became a CNA in 2005 because of my love of the elderly. As a child i always preferred to spend time with elderly couples from church after sunday service. I enjoy caring for others.

I've been a Registered Nurse since 2013. I have worked many areas including; OB, women's health, orthopedics, oncology, medical/surgical, wound care, IV management, medication management, all activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, etc) physician scheduling and management. I have been a travel nurse for the last year and I've handled and experienced a lot of really amazing medical works. Being an RN limits my time with my patients. I want a more personal relationship with the people I care for. Before looking at wages, look at skill set: that can be the difference between life and death for your loved one.

I enjoy being a caregiver because I enjoy helping people and helping them to try to achieve their goals. I have patience,a loving and caring heart but also sometimes you got to have the will to try to motivate a patient to do more than they think they are able to do. I enjoy most about being a caregiver is I can just be myself and care for my patient. My personal achievement I am most proud of is raising my daughter after a terrible divorce and working two jobs while in nursing school and graduating before my mother passed with cancer.Praise God

I have years of experience in both private and facility health care. I've worked with so many different patients, there's probably not an age or disability I have not worked with. I've done hospice care, worked with the intellectually disabled, the band, physically disabled, stroke victims, and persons with diabetes. Plus I've been trained in Trach care. I initially became interested in caregiving because my mother is a nurse. Once I started the job I absolutely loved it. I'm an extremely patient and outgoing person! I loved getting to know each and every resident personally. The most important thing to me was making the resident feel comfortable and safe no matter the task such as a shower. There is something so rewarding about getting to help others!
