Hello, I'm Jessica. I'm a caregiver (TNA from ACAHNCAL) currently working on my CNA Certification. I answered the call and became a professional caregiver during the quarantine. I had been a family caregiver to two members previously and all together, I have 10 years experience. Ive been told I have a servants heart and find I am happiest when making others satisfied. I have great compassion for others in some of the most vulnerable times of their lives when sometimes other family members cannot due to their own family and lives. I absolutely love what I do. I love taking care of the elderly and getting to know them, hearing all the neat stories they have to share. I got into this business due to my mom. She worked for hospice and had a patient that needed help on the weekends. Due to her job my mom was not able to do it so she asked if I would. Hesitant at first, I decided to do it. She was 98 when I started and 99 when she passed. I fell in love with that woman and miss her terribly! I would most definitely, without a doubt, take care of your loved one the way I would take care of mine and would want my loved one taken care of.

I am 53 and I love people. I was with my grandparents a lot growing up and I love elders. I love to hear their stories and I learn so much from them. I am loving and I want the best for them... I always tell them to use it if you are able or lose it... once it is gone we can't go back... I want them to do what they can themselves. I love to read, I have two small dogs. And I love to be outside with fresh air. I love cooking, cleaning, baking, and doing anything that has to do with helping people. I like yard work. I do love doing laundry. I am a person that wants to be with people all the time, it at the end of my day I am ready for me time with my fur babies.. I do go to bed early 8:30 to 9:30 but I get up early. I like to get up and do what has to be done, done.i am not a procrastinator . I like to get all my work done before I leave for the evening. I get close to those that I work with and I think of them as my family. I want the best care for my family and I will give you the best of me and my care while I care for you...

I have worked full-time in Neurosurgery at St. Thomas. I primarily worked with 1 physician, Dr. Carl Hampf. I was responsible for everything with regard to the running of his Office, his schedule, his clinical days schedule and also yes his ever-changing monthly surgical schedule, I am rich I was also responsible for any and all clearance needed or necessary for the patient upcoming surgery. I am also currently in college working toward my degree in nursing, with a goal of becoming a RN. I have always worked in healthcare. It brings me joy to be able to provide care to someone in need.
