I love being around people, I am elder in my siblings, it has very positive effect on my calm and patient personality. I have worked in medical field for most of life, caregiving does not feel like job. one of the best enjoyable part of caregiving is, you get to hear different stories/experiences of the life. I went to nursing school in Pakistan and now finally i have got the verification completed from nursing school.

I'm a mother to 3 children ages 19,10, 7yrs I graduated from school for Medical Assisting and worked for 2 and half years at a General Practice Dr's office. I found my calling as a Private Caregiver 7 years ago. I assist patients in their homes with daily living tasks. Example: meal preparation, bathing,dressing,grooming, Hygiene,light duty housework,laundry,errands,medication,excercise. Companion care. Caring for others is my passion

I have been doing Home Health since 2009. I have been doing live in Private Duty Home Care off and on for the same individual for the last 11 years. At one Home Health Company I was promoted from caregiver to The Assistant to the Administrator and I was given the position as Intake Coordinator.

It takes a special person to care for our elderly. I treat your family, like I would be caring for my own. I have been a CNA for over 12 years, working in a nursing home was not a good fit for me. So I left and have spent the last 10 yrs caring for people in their own homes. I have cared for the early Alzheimer's and watch them transition. I have cared for a set of 26 wk old preemies and watched them grow to become very active girls. My greatest traits kindness, caring, loving and patient.

I'm educated and worked as a nurse for 10 years, I have four older children and I have helped take care of my nephew with Autism. I use to watch children in my home and took care of my dad, who had a stroke and recently passed. I was also taking care of my mom full time, who has Alzheimer's, but now she is in memory care. I have always enjoyed being a caregiver and I love meeting new people and helping others.

Hourly wage is negotiable I decided to become a caregiver because of my grandmother. As far back as I can remember she was a home health aide, I enjoyed watching her interact with her patients and making them feel comfortable. After watching my grandmother interact with her patients, i decided to try out the caregiver/assisted living/geriatric world in 2005, where i fell in love with the industry. I have been a caregiver for geriatrics and mental health for up to 10 years and have always enjoyed it. I have worked with patients that have all stages of Alzheimer's and dementia, including sun-downers, also patients with MS and ALS. With all patients, i like to get to know the family and help them understand and cope with Alzheimer's disease as well as MS and ALS and other diagnoses, which all can be very hard for some families to cope and understand. Not only do i care and look after the patient and their needs, but i also look after and care for the families. Because although, they are not being cared for by the aides, they too still need help at times. I am always there for the families for a shoulder to cry, a venting board, or just when they need help out or around the house. I do not only do my specific job duties, i do things that are not asked of me, i treat your home like i do mine. When i see that something needs to be done, i take it upon myself to complete that task. For example, dishes in the sink, dusting, trash overflowing, or helping a family member with something. I have assisted with assembling an entertainment center before, just to be a helping hand.

I became a professional caregiver after seeing both sets of grandparents in hospitals receiving hospice care. I was young at the time, but incredibly unsatisfied with the level of care performed in those types of institutions. I strive personally to provide the best care possible while retaining my clients dignity and independence.

I am a recent graduate of Manhattan Area Technical College with an associates degree in biotechnology! I have been a care giver for over 5 years; caring for advanced aged family members. I became a CNA in 2017 from MATC and worked at Home Care and Hospice in the hospice house for 2 years. I learned so many powerful and helpful skills that have shaped me into the best CNA I can be. I have many different areas of knowledge relating to geriatrics. I am a positive and loving person who also loves animals of all kinds!

I try to do my best at helping the patient with anything they need. I have always wanted to be in the medical field. I love caring for others. My mom inspired me to be a CNA. I love getting to spend time with a patient and getting to know them and their history. I always get thank yous for being so polite and generous, I give all my thanks to my grandma for that.
