I have been a CNA for 30 +years. Ten or more of those years as a Caregiver, also. I have experience in long-term and short-term care. I have training in home health, hospice, palliative care, private sitter, and companion care. I work as a attendant now with At Home Healthcare, United Healthcare and a Diamond Professional Caregiver with CareLinx. I've taken the academy classes with CareLinx so I could refresh my skills. I have passed my background screening and I am CPR certified, too. I enjoy working with seniors because some of them have lived some adventurous lives. Love being a Senior Care Provider. I took care of my mother for 9 Year's after she had a stroke. Later on she was diagnosed with COPD, CHF, emphysema etc. After my Mom passed, I decided I'm going to do senior care. I have done it since then. I have worked with two great families. I love providing care and being a companion to the elderly. It is such a rewarding thing to do. I'm not one to move around i like to have a permanent position. Hello! My name is Aaliyah Green and I am currently a sophomore at Tyler Junior College majoring in social work. I enjoy fishing and being outdoors with friends and family. What attracted me most about becoming a caregiver for Carelinx is being able to provide the best compassion and humanity to a individual. Although, I've never worked as an actual caregiver for a facility I am experienced. Before the passing of my grandmother in 2019 I spent days and nights providing her with care and assisting her with her daily needs. I also assisted my mother who is a registered nurse with her as far as bathing and heavy lifting. I looked after her the best I could because my grandmother was technically my best friend. I hope to provide that same care that I provided for her to your family member. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is being in school and working on obtaining my degree.
