I would say that I am very good at helping others I am a good motivator and a good listener. I love helping others and being there for others I hope to one day become a registered nurse. I earned my Nursing Assistant Certification right out of high school in 2005. I've also worked in several nursing homes in New Orleans, LA from 2005-2012. My life's passion for practicing as a caregiver and working in the healthcare field has been seriously rewarding physiologically. Helping families and efficiently managing complex tasks is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver.
I am an empathic, compassionate and dependable caregiver. I became a caregiver after my own Mother was stricken with a rare form of Cancer. While I was there , I provided direct & indirect care and companionship everyday for two years. I love caregiving because it is my true passion. My Mom is a Cardiologist at Ben Taub Hospital. My passion is to help others of a sense of personal understanding and connection is vital. I understand elders that may feel vulnerable, scared, confused and uncomfortable, and being able to identify and allay these fears can create a sense of calm and trust for those being cared for.
