Hello my name is Olivia. I am a mother of 4 last 2 girls are attending Westlake High. I am bilingual, I enjoy being a caregiver i get to know my clients and help them to continue doing their hobbies they once use to do. I love to listen to stories they have endured while growing up. My clients I care for I take care of them as I would my own family. I was born & raised in San Marcos but moved to Kyle a couple months ago. My clients are mainly from Austin,Tx. My specific areas I have had my pleasure of working with my clients were Westlake/Rollingwood, Brookdale on Mesa Dr. / Baltierra / Querencia Assisted living/so many other places. I have been doing caregiving since I remember the first time my mom got diagnosed with being a diabetic I was about 15. So I learned about it by going with her to her appointments. So about 25+ yrs. of experience as I got older I cared for my mom then later my father til they past. I love taking care of others sometimes I wish there were more of me to help others. I have done it all from tube feeding to hoyer lift, Companion to bed bound. I do have a pharmacy tech. trainee certificate. If any more questions please do ask. Hello everyone! I am a caregiver based out of Seguin. I have worked as a CNA, adding with various other roles since 2011. I have also personally cared for several family members in my home when they were in need. Being compassionate is my goal and my best quality.

I'm very caring and have an outgoing personality. I'm proud to be a caregiver and have been for the last 10 years. I enjoy the little things and try to give back to my community and others.

Home health to me is so much more than just a job. Its the ability to help people, lighten their families stress, new friendships, and to bring a little joy to them. I got started helping my G. Aunt, who was a home nurse, when I was younger with our own family ailments. My uncle an Gma both had a long fight with cancer; My father had multiple sclerosis; my mom a diabetic/work aholic with heart issues; and I also learned all about dementia an Alzheimer's first hand from caring for my G. Gma. Understanding what the patient is actually going through is essential, but Understanding the hardships the family goes through caring for a loved one is a important key in there loved ones care. Number one rule an my most important one is I always care for a client as if I were caring for my own family. I treat clients and patients as I wish to be treated, honesty, patience, and respect. After graduating high school I worked for hospice care for 2 years before taking a much needed break, (it hurt to much when it was there time to move on). Almost 6 years ago I went back to the same company but chose home health care instead . I worked with them 3 years as a special attendant. The rules became a headache to keep up with their contestant changing so I decided to go elsewhere. My current employer I have been with for almost 3 years. I am a hard worker and I learn fast. I have experience with most medical equipment including: hoyer lift -auto/manual, catheters/cholostomy bags, blood pressure cuffs/pulse ox/thermometers, oxygen machine and portable oxygen bottles, walkers and wheelchairs/electric scooters , bed alarms and hospital beds, etc. I do document visits with clients so families will be able to refer to book for any questions or concerns they may have about any shift, past or current.

My personality traits that make me a great caregiver are that I am kind, understanding, and patient. My attraction to caregiving is being able to help someone who can not help themself. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is that I'm able to to feel better about what I've done and who I am and get paid for it. Oddly enough my greatest personal achievement has not come to pass. I'm working on it every single day--I'm always striving to be a better me.

I know it sounds as if I'm just saying what I'm about to say bc naturally it's just what people say lol, but I just really feel like helping people with everyday life situations is my true calling, It doesn't matter the age, the reason as to why they may need the help, nor the disability someone may have, I would love nothing more then to be the reason you or your loved one smiled today I would love to be the shoulder you used to lean on in time of need, I would love to be the first person that comes to mind when or if you ever need someone you can depend on and trust with yourself or your loved ones.

I'm great at what I do because I'm extremely patient and have a sense of humor. I understand the importance of taking my time and taking care of people as if they were my own family. I enjoy helping others and can only hope that when it's my time, some one cares for me the way that I have cared for my patients in the past.

Hello! My name is Marilyn. I'm the type of Caregiver that is calm, polite, neat, and with structure. My hobbies have been drawing, reading, TV, and some socializing. I chose to be Caregiver because after I certified for Medical Assistant, I tried a few jobs in that role but they didn't work well with me. So I ended up working as a Caregiver because I thought the role seemed easier to do than as a Medical Assistant. If I had enough time to certify as Nurse Assistant, I'd look forward to doing that someday. My greatest attractions as a Caregiver is having a Senior count on me for the sake of his/her well-being and building relationships. My personal achievement is to still have a job and have a life of my own right now.
