I started this professional career in 2009 after my dad had a stroke and of course I wanted to step in and take care of him. I realized after he passed away that this was my calling. I am caring, compassionate, confident and exude enthusiasm as well as personality plus!! I'm an excellent caregiver because I love what I do and I strive to always be the best in whatever I'm doing. My greatest personal achievement's have been raising 2 beautiful daughters as a single mom. The other would be going back to school and achieving my CNA & Phlebotomist license. I love being a voice for the elderly when they don't have one and love taking care of them as if they we're my own parents or grandparents. I have been a CNA since September 2002. When I initially took the course, I was doing it for the paycheck. It didn't take long to realize and understand that no amount of money could make me feel as wonderful as what providing care for the elderly did\does. I have always had a big heart and i'm very sensitive to others feelings. I always want to make someone feel safe and truly understood. I am very patient and understanding and will always give 100% heart to the work that I do. I became a caregiver after high school when i received my license from high school. I was always going to my grandparents to help them out when they needed extra help and I always loved seeing them smile and feeling like they could depend on me for help and support. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating high school, and receiving employee of the month at my past facility I was working for, and paying off my very own vehicle by the age of 22.

I have worked in health care since I was 19. It has always been a joy of mine to take care of the elderly and I'll. I've taken care of dementia patients as well as alzheimer's. I have worked in the critical ill floor of the hospital and loved every minute. I was always busy. I enjoyed the patients. I am extremely proud of myself for furthering my education in healthcare and cannot wait to graduate!
