I became a CNA in 2016 while caring for my Special Needs Daughter. I knew it was in me to do so. I've grown to Love to make peoples needs so much more easier. I'm still trying to continue my career as a future Nurse.

As a great caregiver I try to remain very positive all the time. I am an honest and trust worthy person Being patient, responsible, dependable and have great communication skills with my patients is at the most important to me. As a caregiver I am very empathetic towards my patients and compassionate, it is what establishes a great relationship with each patient. Understanding the patients needs and desires to be able to take care of them efficiently is at the most important to their family and myself. It is what makes work environment healthier and understanding for patient and healthcare worker. I became a caregiver to be able to help those who cant help themselves, to try and help them build the confidence some may have lost during some difficult moments they must have gone through if it may have been through some therapy, or a on going treatment they are still facing. Offer those encouraging words we all need to hear from time to time, show them some one cares if they have no one else to turn too. Being a caregiver gives me great feeling knowing that I have made a difference in someones life. When I see a patient has recovered more that 50 percent it gives me great joy to know I have made a difference in someones life. To have a patient to being speechless to even a good morning is a huge difference to me. Its what makes me want to go to work every day and know I will continue to make a difference in someones life.

I am reliable, including arriving for work on time and fulfilling all duties in a timely manner. Respecting your patients' privacy and dignity. Exhibiting a positive demeanor and kind tone of voice. Being considerate and kind when working with the patient. I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel you can get along well with a variety of elders. I want to make sure that each moment of their loved ones lives are filled with precious memories of being with someone who cares for them not just because you have to and it's our job, but because we genuinely care about them getting their right amount of nutrients in their food, or making sure they've exercised today. It's about being there when they need us the most. I am compassionate, caring, empathetic, patient, humorous when need be and present.

Tolerance and respect are what make me a great caregiver, making a different and becoming part of someone's life, being there for someone who needs my services makes me to enjoy life. I meet and make new families and friends across the world with different lifestyle and culture make me fulfilled my dreams.

I started caring for family (my grandmother) from there I found a passion is helping others who are in need of a caring hand. Helping others who need extra assistance to stay in their home makes me feel like I'm giving back to others. Being able to keep people home as long as possible is the best feeling for being a caregiver .

What makes me a good caregiver is that im compassionate, empathetic and treat each of my patients/client with respect and overall dinity. Since i was 10 years old i mew i was going to tale care of people. I enjoy spending time with elderly and people that need my help.

I have been working as a caregiver in a high acuity setting providing care for patients of all ages for approximately three years. During this time I have learned how to provide assistance at all levels to patients' needs including feeding, grooming, and companionship. I enjoy connecting with each patient individually and making sure that they feel taken care of.
