I feel what makes me a great caregiver is I have been on the other side of the caregiver/patient bond. I took care of my Father for 2 years before he passed away and I feel that everyone should be treated with that respect and dignity they deserve. I have five years prior experience as a CNA and have worked in both a hospital environment and also a handful of Long Term Care facilities. I was a travel CNA my last two years of work so I got to travel many different places locally to help with care in my area! I take great pride in my work as a caregiver and think that every person should be treated like family. Actually found that I enjoyed it especially just listening to elderly, some of the stories they told about. After that moved from Ft worth area back to waco to help my mom out.
