I am enjoy helping others , it is my passion , I am currently enrolled in college as well bettering my skills to help others. I enjoy bringing joy to others lives and helping them enjoy their lives as well. I am patient and feel I can get along with most anyone no matter the circumstances .

I became a caregiver because I have always enjoyed helping people and find it rewarding. What I like about being a caregiver is knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life and the lasting relationships I build with those I care for. I currently have 18 yrs experience being a caregiver, mainly hands on experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer, and paraplegic clients. I am a happy go lucky person full of energy and guaranteed to brighten your day no matter what. I do believe this is my calling in life.

I believe the qualities that make me a great caregiver are patience, compassion and attentiveness. These qualities are essential in assisting a patient at their bedside in their time of need. As stressful it can be for someone who no longer has the physical ability they once had, there needs to be someone who is understanding and empathetic to their desires to ensure comfort. My interest in becoming a caregiver comes from being the one my grandparents call on for help. I strongly believe in giving back to the community and equal effort for all ages of those in stand in the need of care. My enjoyment stems from seeing interacting and seeing my patients smile. I'm proud of the fact that step by step I'm making an impact on my patients as they always ask to see me again. Once I secure the peace of mind in my patients' families hearts and minds, my job is complete.

I've been in healthcare for 9 years and currently holding an medical assistant certification while furthing my education for eventually get accepted into the LVN program . Hi, there my nam is Rebeca Martin what attracted me the most is when I was working in my first nursing home ever. I grew a strong connections to the residents and from there I wanted too be more than just their house keeper. I wanted too gain more. I watched everyone there. And then I started charging for my grandparents. And I fell in love!

What makes me a great caregiver is because this is my God given Gift to care for His love ones. We each have a Gift that God has given us before we were born, and mines is to be able to care for the Elderly. At the end of the day, I get to go home knowing that I was given an opportunity, and the challenge and the blessing of being able to care for the Elderly. I think that's why I was put on this earth, and I think its' my calling like I said earlier in this statement. This is my purpose in life, and I am fulfilled by doing so. Below is a prayer I wrote. Our father, as I enter into the Homes of your love ones, I bring your presence with me. I speak your Peace, your Grace, your Mercy and your Perfect Order as I, the caregiver do your will. I acknowledge your power over all that will be spoken, though, decided, and done within these walls. Lord, I thank you for the Gifts that you have blessed me with. I commit to using them responsibly in your Honor. Give me a fresh supply of strength to do your will. Anoint my projects, and ideas, so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring you Glory. Our Heavenly Father, when I as your Servant am confused; guide, and lead me. When I am burned out, infuse me with the Light of the Holy Spirit. May the work that I do, and the way that I do it, bring Faith, Joy, and a Smile to all of your love ones that I come in contact with each and every day. I am a mom so I have a very mom-like personality. I am nice, responsible, helpful, willing. I was attracted to being a caregiver by the jobI am at now. I love helping out people who are in need. I enjoy caring for people who need it. Giving love and being there for them.

I have always had a desire to make a career out of caring for others. Ever since I was young I knew the medical field was where I was meant to be. I am a compassionate and empathetic person by nature, and have no problem connecting with people from all walks of life. The most rewarding and fulfilling thing for me is when I am able to make another person's life easier or more pleasant, and I hope to continue that in my role as a caregiver! I have 5 amazing kids and a wonderful fiance. We love spending free time gardening and loving on our animals.
