I began working in a nursing home while in high school. I enjoyed taking the time to care for my clients in the home on a daily basis. For 40 intermittent years I have care for many different types of people who needed assistance and help with their daily lives. I very much enjoy caring for alzheimers patients and also dementia. I've worked with Parkinson's disease clients, multiple sclerosis, The sheer fact of making their responsibilities easier satisfies me.

In my current position I work at Centralia Providence Hospital in all departments. I assist patients with daily living activities such as getting out of bed toileting showering getting dressed and other duties as needed. I am able to physically handle the work load and I also have a caring bedside manner and good interpersonal skills. My organizational skills allow me to complete all tasks in a timely manner and to be able to devote time to helping with other household duties such as cleaning laundry and dishes. But honestly it was best because she not only does likes the place she likes the people gave gotta close to a lot. A few things about me that makes me an amazing caregiver is that not only do I believe to still give them there Independence in a safe manor but I also care deeply from my heart and try my best to always get all there needs complete. One thing that made me interested in being a caregiver was when I was 10 I used to go to my great grandpas retirement home and help out with everyone. I enjoyed it so much, seeing there faces when I would help with something or just sit and listen made me feel like I won a million dollars. It's the most rewarding thing in life is to give back as much as I can to others that have done so much in life. One of the most enjoyable things as a caregiver is completing a goal that boosts up there confidence. When I first meet someone and they have alot of trouble with something, I help work on it and once I see the progress and smile on there face it makes me so happy to see them happy. That's all I strive to do is make it easier and happier for them . A professional Achievement I have had is that I have been a caregiver for 5 years and havent once had a horrible experience. I have gotten so much knowledge and have been through tons of experience I feel like nothing is too difficult for me to achieve.
