I became a caregiver simply because I love to help people! I love building long term relationships and companionships.

I've been in the healthcare field for about 16 years. I have experience with elder care and DD care. I have managed group homes and started my own in home care agency. I am very passionate about what I do as I feel I was put here on earth to make a positive impact for those I serve and care for. I feel that if I can somehow make someones life more enjoyable or bring a higher level to their quality of life then I have done my job. These are our parents, grandparents, friends and family who need quality care and I know when I am with them, they are receiving genuine love and care. It brings me joy to the positive impact I make in their lives.

I have been in this field for 23 years.. I absolutely love what I do. I take pride in the fact that I can help somebody stay healthy and happy with quality care, in their own home . I began my career in my teen years, taking care of my grandparents before their passings, and knew then, that this was my calling. The relationships and bonds I have been blessed to experience and be part of is unmatchable, being such a special part of someone's life is irreplaceable to me, and something I cherish. I take my job very seriously, and safety is always of #1 importance to me, for my clients as well as myself. I am professional, a problem solver, reliable, and can work with any level of care needed as stages may progress, as I have worked with everything... from companion care all the way to end of life, and medical care such as trach's and respirators, etc, and everything in between.

I am caring and full of energy. I have a ton of experience. I have been a CNA for six years and I am currently in nursing school. I enjoy taking care of people and putting smiles on their face. My greatest achievement is making it into nursing school. I started my work as a CNA because I helped take care of my disabled sister while growing up and my grandma was a nurse and she was a very caring person. She was an inspiration that I strive to be.

I became a caregiver because I saw the way people were treated in a convalescent hospital that I worked in as a teenager I told myself when I got older if I could help people I would and now that I'm old enough to help I want to help people who cannot help themselves I feel that more people should want to do jobs like this I feel like elderly have done a lot for us when they raised us and we should return the favor I love doing my job because I get to help other people and I get to know other people I get to learn about them and things that they might want to share it's good to get to know other people and help people who can't help themselves also I took care of an aunt that had polio growing up so I've been doing caregiving for a while and I also have seven children so I think I have a lot of experience and three of my children are physically or mentally disabled so I have a lot of experience in that area too

Hello ! Thank you for looking over my profile and considering me. I have done caregiving since I was roughly 14 years of age, my mother was a CNA and I absolutely loved what she did, I would come and volunteer to play games with her seniors she was caring for and also serving meals of their likings. I have a happy-go-lucky personality, im passionate about what i do and i love making a difference in somebody's life, even if just for a moment . I have done in home care for 4 years now and have stayed with the same company for 3 of those years. I'm honest and accountable, i am a lead caregiver for comforcare, my current employer. I have had many patients that i have held so dear to my heart and their families.i have achieved many goals as a care giver and pride myself in the work i do. Having patience, understanding and a good communicating skills are my good traits to be a successful caregiver.
