I have a passion for helping others. I wanted to make a difference in the life of someone who was ill. Being able to bring some happiness to those in need. Being chosen as a lead aid, to be able to train new caregivers.

The knowledge of CNA and CMA, Over 10 years and the experience ,makes me a great caregiver. My great personalities are am honest, respectful and empathetic. My job and my personality has always been helping people and particularly old and disabled and helpless. I enjoy helping people who geneunly need help and doing my job professionally Personally I have achieved my goal of helping the helpless. Making them happy with life at their stages. I am honest, hardworking, experience, passionate, driven, dependable, highly organized and constantly set goals for myself. I am able to handle multitask. What attracted me to become a caregiver, i love making a difference in a family and their love ones life. I also love making a difference in a clients daily routine to wish the family could be at ease. It's very rewarding field where getting to meet all different kind of personalities.

As of October 4, 2022 I'm current with all COVID-19 vaccine shots and on Oct 4, 2022 I got the newest booster shot. I have been a IP ( Independent Provider ) Hospice/CNA nurse for 10 plus years now after obtaining my license in 2011. But been a caregiver for over twenty years now. My certification includes experience working with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Cancer, Autism, Mental Health, Nurse Delegation, Sundowner's, Stroke/Brain Bleed, Stroke with AFO brace, Cerebral Palsy, PSP ( Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) and Diabetes. I am CPR certified. I have my own transportation, non smoker, and have a clean driving record. I love working with people, but my passion is to work with senior citizens. I enjoy reading, cooking, scrapbooking, listening to music, love doing puzzles and playing with my three small dogs. I am handy in both house and yard work. The part I love most about what I do is the smiles and enjoyment that I can see on my clients faces from the care and help I give them. My most recent work has consisted of taking care of a ninety-six year old sweet lady with Dementia/cancer. In addition to the regular requirements of of a caregiver, I'm very hard working, I'm cheerful, compassionate and have extremely good creative skills in the arts and I would include cooking as an art. I like to go the extra mile and do little things that sometimes can make all the difference. For instance, putting towels in the dryer so they're nice and warm after a shower, or making sure that meals are served garnished and attractive. It's rewarding to help someone and cheer them up, see them smile ! I enjoy the variety and working with people one on one, and I enjoy working in their homes. I think the overall achievement of working with many people since 2012 is what I'm proud of. I do enjoy making them smile and laugh and taking them out of their troubles at least for a little while, while performing tasks in their home that need to be done. I do not do transfers .This means the person must be totally ambulatory. I cannot help them get up from a chair or get out of bed, nor can I reposition someone in bed. But, I do everything else. Available full time. except Friday afternoon. I can also do weekend, 24/7 shifts or long weeks 24/7.

I'm a people person. I'm flexible and compatible with, I would say, just about every personality type. Just for the simple fact that I accept people for who they are and where they are. I like to say, essentially, I will meet them where they're at in life. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my desire to help people live as free and independent as possible. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love people and their company and I love hearing their stories of where they've been and what they've done. I think what I love most about being a caregiver is just the fact that I'm empowered to give a piece of myself to someone, to hopefully make their life better or more comfortable. I have a lot of achievements, but I think the one that I'm most proud of is the one where I had a client who would not allow anyone to draw their blood or do any kind of testing on them that was really necessary to make things better for them and get them a proper health care assessment. But, they were willing to put down their guard for me. Because of me they allowed work to be done and I can't tell you how thrilled I was that I would have that effect on somebody.

I have been a caregiver for over 7 years and i have a lot of experience in caregiving. I have passion for the Job and I like helping people who are need of help. I want to contribute to the lives of people.
