I am a caring, patient, loving, and compassionate caretaker. My deepest desire is to serve others by meeting their physical need. I am a good listener and love to be a companion for both the young and old. I think that being a care taker is one of the best and most needed jobs. Their are so many individuals who previously have experienced a full and independent life, but are unable to now due to a disease or illness. My desire is to come along side of those who are in need in order to improve their quality of daily life. My favorite part about caregiving is the the when I can see someones quality of life improve just by being there, loving them, and coming along side of them. I am proud of the many grateful smiles and "thank you's" I have received from different patients over the past few years. Being a nursing student, spending hundreds of hours serving others, and many more hours studying in order to give patients the best possible care has been one of my greatest achievements.

Being a caregiver was instilled within myself from a young age. Growing up I had an elderly grandmother, in which I helped take care of. It just came naturally to me. I enjoy being a companion or a listening ear for her made me smile. So I have always looked at being a caregiver is just helping those who needed me. Making sure that ate or remembered to take the medications is vital for those who has limited mobility or early dementia or those that just need that extra reminder. I enjoy everything about being a caregiver.

I have been a Caregiver all my life. When my children were young I ran a Day Care out of my home. When they became teenagers I went back to School and fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. I have worked very closely with people of all ages from Newborn's to Senior Citizens. I am a "local" of Ozaukee County and I am looking for my next assignment to be within Ozaukee County, WI.

Hey, my name is Aryssa, I'm 24 years old and have a beautiful 6 month old daughter! I'm currently a stay at home mom that goes to college full time! My goal in life is to get a degree in Health Information Technology. I have worked in various areas in health care but my specialty is working with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients! Some of the skills I have accumulated include; dementia trainer, CPI certified, CPR, And CBRF certified( medication administration & fire safety).
