I am a caring, compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and kind caregiver. I was attracted to caregiving because I enjoy caring for others. I know that sounds very cliche, but it is very rewarding to meet the needs of my clients and put a smile on their face. A great caregiver goes above and beyond unknowingly , its second nature for them to give it their best at everything, .....all the time......from their dress code to how they talk and the small stuff washing dishes and sweeping , its all done with respect and integrity. This is me and how I live every day ,it comes off easy when I work because its a learned way of living. Years ago I was working in a facility with 24 people to care for and I couldn't give the proper care , unable to stretch my self as far as the needs went so I made a decision to do it on my own, so I could work in the homes and give quality care 1 person at a time. The best part of assisting others is the joy of relief we bring to their lives, its more than a paycheck could ever offer, being able to comfort, gain trust, and to be apart of their day and adding a joke or a smile is an experience all should feel at some point in life. I'm proud to have stepped out of my comfort zone of the industry to work directly with people who need quality care, direct accountability so they can enjoy being home with dependable help........

I love being a caregiver I have always thought being a caregiver is a gift I am a people person and, I love taking care of others. I have 10 + experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's and find it is my specialty! I have been a CNA for over 10 years and, I have a lot of experience with with all the different parts of caregiving. I believe being a caregiver is about understanding that everyone is unique and, different and, should be respected and loved for who they are.
