I love helping older people out they are so sweet. My first job I had was at a nursing home as a helping hand when I was a freshman in high school. I would make there beds give them juices and snacks I would fill all the ice buckets with fresh water. When I became a senior in high school they offered a CNA class which I took and passed the test. I worked at this nursing home for 9yrs Then I got married and moved to Amarillo. I got a job at Integra care hospice. It was a very sad job but I enjoyed the smile I would see when I would help them shower and make them feel special. I would polish there toe nai ls and hand nails fix there hair I would help the men shave. The feeling u have after you help people that need help is the best feeling ever. That's why I like being a caregiver. I am 32 years old with a husband and 2 children. ... more
