I am great caregiver because i have a lot of experience with different type of patient with different disorders. I have work as a caregiver for eight years plus, i have also worked with two doctors during my time as a caregiver and attended school to become a medical assistant/ phlebotomist, i have also worked with patients with mental health disorders. I became a caregiver to help anyone that need the help for themselves or their loved ones. I understand that everyone needs help from time to time, we are all busy with work and our families and sometimes we can't do everything on your own that the reason i became a caregiver it to help the ones that need the help with their loved ones and also to meet new people and learn some new. As a caregiver i love learning about people and their past experiences everyone lives a different life and have a different past and im also learning something new an interesting. My greatest achievement or accomplishment has to be going back to school because i never thought that i would return to school after having my first son. As a mom i wanted something to be proud of for myself and my children.
I became a caregiver to take care of the sick and to pursue my goal of becoming a nurse. I love the interaction with others and getting to hear stories of the ones I take care of most. One personal achievement I am truly proud of is the person I have become today. I love myself and am confident in saying that I have turned out to be a great person. I am well on my way to becoming a traveling ER nurse and am so honored to have gotten all the great training I have received.
I'm a very outgoing person, that loves the outdoors and is definitely a tomboy! I love doing the job that I do, I know the calling God has for me is to take care of ppl! So many love the young and forget about the older. Key to success is to remember the ones that wiped your hinny and never get to proud to stand for what you believe in!
I cared for two of my grandparents in home. I was responsible for the full care of my grandfather with Alzheimer's including meals, hygiene, transportation and companionship. I am very loving and sympathetic to all elderly persons. I have worked in the greenhouse/nursery industry the past four years but I feel the desire to help elderly any way possible. I am looking for a full or part time caregiver position or possibly hospice care.
I became a caregiver because i know one day i will need that kind of help and i would like to get the best help that i can. So i try to give the best care to the best of my ability. I like putting smiles on my residents face, and learning interesting things about them that can help me care for them. I am proud to be an independent 20 year old still going to school and working at the same time. I lived in California until i was 15, which i then moved here to Amarillo, Tx and i love it here.
I'm a genuinely caring person who will listen to you, help you and be compassionate to the needs in your daily life. I have four boys at home so I'm definitely quick on my feet! Not much goes unnoticed! I love caring for people, I first became a CNA in mid 2009 as I was graduating high school and it's something that has remained dear to my heart ever since. I will very much enjoy getting to know someones likes and dislikes, and learning daily routines, every single person I've had the pleasure of helping has left an impact on my life in one way or another and for that I'm forever grateful!
Hi my name is Tracey, I've been a caregiver for over 10 yrs. I've always none I had a Love and passion for caring for people at an early age. Growing up you could say I had an old soul. Being a caregiver the rewards of caring for someone is simply beautiful and it takes a special person to full feel the needs of a person who is wanting a peace of mind on there journey home. I believe our elderly family members holds the key to our lives. My recent client I provided him with overwhelming joy, he was diagnosed with FTD. While I assisted him with everyday needs I also became his voice to his wife when times had began to change due to the disease, not only did I become that but I also became his body movement also due to not being able to stand and walk on his own. Yes there are canes, chairs etc.. available but his condition I watched, learned his habits, and I grew with the disease he had, but any object that he came in contact with was another story, he was a true joy to my life and I was honored that the Lord himself lead me to the Morgan family. I've also recently just opened my own care home within this last month so not only am I looking to come to love ones homes i'm also looking for clients to care for in my home. Caring for people is a gifted that some don't have, but finding a right caregiver who has a passion for a loved one is possible because i'm one of them.
