I worked in banking for five years for a small community bank. A large portion of our clients were seniors and elderly. It's the joy that I got from the day to day interaction with them that made me transition to this type of work. I've have been fortunate to care for a lovely client with dementia for the past 8yrs and I can say it's truly the most fulfilling experience I've had. Recently she passed but she will forever be in my heart. It takes a level of love and patience and compassion to do this kind of job. I think that I embody those qualities. To entrust me with your love one is to know that I will treat them with the utmost regard and care. I bring with me all the knowledge and skills that I have gained from caring for someone with dementia, mobility issues, incontinence, diabetes, high blood pressure and more. I engage in light physical activity/movement, mental exercises, manage medication and stay on top of doctor's appointment to ensure all health issues stay under control. Whatever the need is for your love one you can rest assured that I will be mindful of that and give my absolute best at all times.
