My work ethic stems from the tenets of my faith: to love your neighbor as yourself. This is done by committing one's work to the Lord (YHWH). I work as though I am working for YHWH. Having worked with the Geriatric population at Terrell State Hospital for the last 6 years, I have become acutely aware of the isolation and neglect this age group can experience, and felt great compassion while helping them in the midst of their mental health crisis. Having moved from that geographic area I am hoping to help some individuals in this area. While I mainly assisted with the geriatric population I do have some experience with the child/adolescent population, IDD population, and young-adult to late-adult population. I enjoy developing relationships and caring for people. People fall into vulnerable times in their lives and I hope I can be a pillar of positivity and compassion during those moments.
