My caregiver career started a little over 2yrs ago when I started working for a veteran with ALS. With so many changes happening in those two short years I've gained a lot of knowledge about ALS and the experience of caring for someone with limits. I consider myself to be a great asset to a family in need of support and care because I can provide assistance with daily activities, bathing/grooming, physical therapy, errands, appointments, and transportation. In addition to care I can also provide nutrition based on your dietary needs whether it's a blended diet given thru a feeding tube or simply meal pr ep for the week. I believe that a caregiver not only cares for the patient, but also the family. I'm reliable, friendly, trustworthy, and eager to help anyone in need! ... more
