What makes me a great caregiver is that I really truly care about people. I treat most people as if they are my family. I'm very social and bubbly easy to talk to I also love talking. I grew up caring for my great grandmother as I got older I knew I wanted caregiving to be my career. What I enjoy most about caregiving is helping someone hopefully making a change in there life. In 2007 I became a CNA that made me very proud. But what really made me proud is caring for my grandmother till she took her last breath. She was a amazing woman that knew what she wanted and demanded she got it. I made a difference in her life and gave her 120% care.

I have been a care taker for 10 years and I enjoyed it from day one. I am very funny and also relatable, very understanding, and compassionate, with a great deal of patience. I have had my own personal experience with dementia in my own family and wanted to be able to help others also educate others on how to take care and relate to someone with dementia. I enjoy getting to know others and their way of life and sharing the different experiences people have had in their life's because, little do people know I have learned and taken in so much from my clients it's unreal. My biggest achievement is going into my clients homes and they tell me that they are glade I'm there or just showing that they really appreciate and love the services that I give on a daily bases.

I am a 46 year old mother of 3. I am best fit for this job because I love caring for the elderly and disabled citizens. I love to keep a smile on their faces. I started caregiving about 10 years ago when my grandmother got sick. I also worked for various companies caring for seniors. I make sure that they are happy, healthy, and safe. Choose me as your caregiver, and you won't be disappointed.
I am an honest, caring & loyal person. I treat all my patients how I would want my very own family treated. I became a nurse assistant many years ago and enjoy it still to this day. I enjoy home care specifically because I love helping my patients keep their autonomy, dignity and freedom.
I am a great caregiver first because I have a lot of patience. I empathize with patients and try to anticipate their needs and provide them. I also make them feel they are not a burden to me. Being widely read and widely traveled I am able to share in their conversations. I am aware that every day is different for them and meet them at the point of their need or wish each day. For example is they wish to be garrulous on one day I will talk with them. If they need to be quiet, I will give them their space while making sure that their daily needs are met. I enjoy helping people and when I put a smile on someones face and make them happy, that's my greatest achievement.
Being a caregiver has been most rewarding, it has allowed me to build lasting relationships throughout the community I have an extensive back ground in the medical field. I have worked as an EMT, a certified nurse aid and certified medication aid in hospitals, assisted living faclities & nursing homes. The past eight years I have work privately with families in the home assisting with their love ones with their final transition of the life cycle as a homehealth aid, sitter or compaion. In each capacity I have left a valued impression on the families with whom I've had the pleasure to serve.
