What makes me a good caregiver is the fact that I enjoy people and find most people enjoy my company as well due to the fact I'm concerned about their well being by checking on them or calling them to see how they are doing. I became a caregiver because I worked in Special Education in the Austin Public School System so I am familiar with dealing with special needs of students both mental and physical challenges that student may have been dealing with. To know someone appreciates the help is the joy for me. A personal achievement for me is to have gone back to school for my Masters of Science in Education later in life.
