About Conni

Caregiving is personal for me. In my early 20's I assisted my aunts w/the home care of my grandmother; she required 24/7 care w/things like reading to her, toileting, med minders, meal prep/feeding or visiting w/her. She was diabetic & she was on dialysis at home 3x's a wk, my aunt, who was certified preformed this procedure & trained me as her back-up.I loved knowing she could count on me. I have since learned that I LOVE giving that same type of attention & caring to others....there's a great sense of accomplishment & self respect that comes from helping those with needs. I've lived in ATX since Jan of 2014 1st going to work with a Sr Home Healthcare Svc, gaining both hands on knowledge & up to date techniques & safety procedures. Having prev owned 2 successful businesses, I chose to combine that knowledge with my love of helping others & chose to be a private Caregiver to be able to give more of myself to my clients needs. I have worked closely with my previous clients families as well with physical & occupational therapist & alongside hospice. I have a great, positive outlook on life, a great sense of humor & a heart of dedication. I have great communication, scheduling & organizational skills. I have advocated for the rights & well being of those who needed me to fill in the gap. I encourage health & safety , exp w/Hoyers, have worked w/rehab & experince in Alzheimer's, Dementia, Lewy Body Dementia, Diabetes, Cancer patients & recovery & much more. I insist on open, consistent communication with my clients' family members & make my clients safety, health, mental & spiritual well being my 1st priority. I look forward to helping you & your family feel confident in your acquiring my caregiving services!
