About Kathleen

Hello my name is Kathleen Knight. I became a professional caregiver in 2013 after my mother was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. I quickly found how hard it was to find caring, kind , compassionate and reliable caregivers to help with my mothers illness. I left my professional career of 30 years to take care of her and after her passing I quickly realized I would love to help other families in need with life changing situations, whether it be an elderly parent or any loved one in the family. I am CPR certified, enrolled in continuing education classes on first aid, senior care with a focus on Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I started with a very supportive agency and then branched out into private care. I find this an incredibly rewarding career. I am reliable, caring, compassionate and have great references from both employer and private care clients. I am also passionate about animals! I am currently a foster mom of two great dogs and work actively in a rescue organization.
