I'm a great caregiver for these reasons, I'm dependable,punctual,eager to learn,eager to help, I get alone with any and everyone,including pets.I was created for this field.I have compassion for what I do & also for the seniors I help. I am also a medical assistant. I love my career with such a passion that I knew at a young girl I wanted &needed to be in the medical field. I love been a helping hand to somsomeone that needs, or don't mind my help. I'm also a companion,friend to whomever I assist but we also become family from the time we spend together.I get to know who they are and they also get to know me.I TRULY LOVE WHAT I DO! I am Joshlyn. I have been a private caretaker for several years. I have assisted patients with all aspects of daily care, including dressing/undressing, checking vital signs, bathing, personal hygiene, transferring to and from bed, skin care and various other duties. I have administered oral and IV medication as prescribed by an attending physician on a daily basis. I have maintained records of patient care, condition, progress, and problems, in order to report and discuss observations with family members and physicians. I accompany clients to doctors' offices and on other trips outside the home, providing transportation, assistance and companionship. I maintained sterile fields, application of dressings to a stage 4 decubitus ulcer. I assisted patients with basic activities of daily living, including changing of bed linens, washing laundry, preparing nutritious meals and doing basic housekeeping. My love and passion is in direct patient care (one-on-one). I'm amazing in what I do.
