My expertise's in being a caregiver is that I have been doing it all my life and I love what I do! I love to bring a smile to oyour loved one.. it makes me happy knowing that I gave that smile to someone.. my expertise's come from experience.. I worked at top hospitals, with children and adults... I worked with top Harvard Doctors who taught me how to be number 1 and treat my patients the same... I would say my personality is upbeat, happy, outgoing, silly at times.. and a great communicator.. Absolutely the best thing I love being about a caregiver is the patients and the families!! I have so many achievements I'm proud of but I would have to say my latest one is Ysadore my sweetheart he can't talk and I looked at him and told him that I would help him have a voice so he can make decisions on his own.. instead of everyone making them for him and I did just that .. and I drove a 1 1/2 hours a day every day one way to take care of him because he was worth it!! I been taking care of the elderly for over 20 years. I was a CNA over 10 years I then furthered my education by going to school to be a Registered Medical Assistant but went back to working on my own working with the elderly because that's what I truly I enjoy.,

Ysadore macklacoff
As Ysadores caregiver I did lots of things for him.. Ysadore is a only survivor of a rare autonomic disease which causes him to go sympathetic or parasympathetic or both ... he has brain damage also.. very hard to explain his condition since no one has it he is 11 .. I was with him 12 hrs a day 7 days a week 70 hours a week.. basically I was his nurse he didn’t have one .. I did all his feeding which is not easy .. it’s not like how we eat .. we have to watch heart rate at all times.. and swallowing... and a lot of other important details that go with feeding.. it’s a hard job! I also worked with ysadore to give him a voice .. ysadore doesn’t speak.. but with movement of his eyes and other things ysadore now can speak and make decisions 😊 on his own... took me almost a year ...

Above and Beyond Home Health Care -
At Above and Beyond I was a caregiver for 16 patient it was a fun job I loved it I ran the floor on weekends and had keys during the week so it was a hard job but fun .. I was responsible for making sure patients got all there medications on time I accounted for them and gave them.. if patients were sick I called there nurses and got them out there .. In the meantime kept the patient stable by following nurses instructions giving narcotics or what have.. and also taking care of my other patients at the same time.. I also did bathing, cleaning, cooking .. what ever needed to be done for them. I did everything.
