Hi! My name is Cherelle Menefee and I'm a army wife. I was diagnosed with Lupus at age 15 and I have been in hospitals and rehab for my body and it just makes me want to care for others.My first job as a caregiver I was 19 years old and my client was 92 years old;he had Alzheimer's. I cooked and cleaned for him I also got his groceries. I worked for him 4 days out of the week and I spent the night every other weekend. I loved my client. When I'm with my clients I love to smile even if they are being fussy. I love to encourage my clients to stay positive. The one thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is the bond I make with my clients and sometimes the family. I'm glad I can be there to show a little love. It's not all about the bathing, and cooking and cleaning all the time sometimes all the client needs is a listening ear and a little dose of love.
