I started caregiving because my aunt desperately needed help and was being abused in her home by a relative. I saw that I was able to comfort her and bring her some joy and lightness, and in return I felt that myself. Same thing today. I like feeling that I can make a difference and I empathize with older people - and am rapidly advancing in that area myself. I am looking for a situation with a client who is largely mobile, needs cognitive and emotional support and likes to be active. I primarily would like to work on weekends as I want to devote most of the week to my performing career. I have a CNA. Thanks!
