Being a caregiver is about truly enjoying the satisfaction of learning to love and care for someone Since the age of 13 I always loved being with my grandma, and going to work with her at the nursing home. Taking care of people is one of the things in my life that makes me happy. I've worked at an assisted living facility, and did Respite care for a little girl named Juliana with Rett Syndrome. I have worked many jobs in my 19 years, but becoming a blessing in someone else's life is what I am most proud of.
Try to answer the following: What makes you a great caregiver? Why did you become a caregiver? What do you like about being a caregiver? What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I am a naturally caring person, very positive, happy, helpful, honest, dependable , trustworthy and loving. I learned that I have the ability to become a caregiver right after I took care of my grandmothers, my grandfather and my father in law, it is very fulfilling to help and to put a smile on other peoples life, I fell so proud everyday that I help them do the things that they cannot do anymore. My personal achievement that I can proud of is with my father in law, he said am a great person and he is proud of me and my parents for having me (this for me is the best achievement I accomplished as a person.
People have always been very important to me. Since I was a little girl I knew that I wanted to work in a field that would help others. Providing care for others is a natural skill of mine, and I have excelled in it even when I was younger. I just quit my job as a caregiver Supervisor due to school schedule and I am now wanting to work part-time with clients. I am very patient, scheduled, and I enjoy watching the people around me succeed. I am young, energetic, and excited at the possibility of working with you.
I take pride in taking care of others. It's very rewarding to me as I practically raised myself. I have 2 beautiful children that are my pride and joy. I had a day care business that was extremely successful that I had to leave when I moved from MN to Texas. I will put anybody's needs before mine always. I adore people & care for people like no other.
1.I became a caregiver because this is something that has always been my passion. 2.I like talking with the residents, and making sure that they are satisfied with the care that I give. 3.the most personal achievement that I am proud of is when one of my patients 102,and she asked me to sing happy birthday to her, that really made her day. 4.I started working as an NA in 1999,then in 2001I got my CNA license, I have worked in nursing homes, and I have done home health care, I am 47 yrs old, divorced with a 6yr old daughter.I would love to submit a background check, but I don't have the money, I've been without a job since November 2014
I've been a licensed cosmotoligst since 1987. In 2006 I sold my beauty shop and decided to stay home to take care of my grandmother, who raised me. I did all the housework, inside and out. I cooked for her, did her laundry, drove her wherever she wanted to go, ran errands helped her pay bills, took her to all Dr appointments, made sure she took her medicine, bathed her, helped her dress, shampooed and set her hair once a week...just anything she wanted and needed me to do I have done for her the past 12 years. She would tell everybody she could that livening with me was like being in a five star hotel. She was 92 when she passed away this past June, and I miss her very much. I often wonder about people that don't have anyone to take care of them when they can no longer do for their self. I want to b able to keep helping seniors stay in their home as long as they want...I am dependable and trustworthy, and willing to be a helpful companion.
I'm a great caregiver because I love to provide the best possible care for Seniors. I live in Lewisville, Texas and have lived here since 2001. I have love and compassion for each client that I care for. We also are reaching that stage in life that will soon require someone to care for us. My theory is that if I provide good care for a Client then someday if I reach that point the same will be done for me.
