I love what I do. If you don't love what you do your not going to serve the individual adequately. I am a very honest, empathetic and a very patient person when it comes to serving others. As being a caregiver each individual that you have the pleasure of serving, you must make sure that each individual knows that their respect and dignity is at the forefront of me serving them. Serving others in need is what attracted me to being a caregiver. It gives me a genuine sense of joy knowing that I'm able and willing to being that helping hand. Everyone is not built to be a care giver and there are caregivers that are not there for the right reasons. I am very friendly and outgoing, I love talking and listening to my clients. I love love and I believe that is one of the main reasons i wanted to be a caregiver to love my clients and help them to the best of my ability. I absolutely hated the politics overriding senior care at these luxury and not so luxury facilities that I ventured out on my own to care for my clients the way they need to be cared for.

I have been providing care giving assistance for more than 10 years. I started from taking care of my mother when she became critically ill by providing bathing and grooming, cooking her meals, and driving her to her doctor's appointments and other engagements. Taking care of her for 3 years turned into a career choice especially after seeing her go through her pain, difficulty, and inability to manage her daily life without assistance was heartbreaking. After she passed away I decided I wanted to continue helping and assisting elders to alleviate and make it easy for them to live and manage their daily life, and activities for a more satisfying and happy life. My experience ranges from companionship, to assisting with activities of daily living, providing transportation, maintenance of vital signs, hospice care assistance, dialysis support, and caring for Alzheimer's and dementia, COPD, and Parkinson's disease.
