I'm not much for bragging on my self but I will say that I have innate sense of selflessness and empathy, I try to show a willingness to serve, an absence of “attitude,” and the patience to weather a patient’s bad days, all with a smile on my face. I believe that happiness and laughter are on of the greatest heal tool ever. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. Or when your doing some little something special for them, they stop you, and say thank you. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. Meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I enjoy the opportunity to impact peoples’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. I will always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses, just as I did with my dad when he was ill with cancer. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh.
