I became a care giver because I wanted to become a nurse. I could not become a nurse because of the math and science part of the nursing program. I love to take care of people,young and old. I was an activity director at local nursing homes for years and I loved to plan the daily activities for the residents. I lived with my grandmother for a year and took care of her. The one thing I like about being a care giver is being a companion for the client. Some people need an extra person just to have , so they can talk or run errands with. All my clients liked me because we talked or we went places. I have been married for seven years and my husband works for white wave foods. I have a new puppy named Sadie and a cat named Holly.
