Being a Nurse is a very important job. It takes a special kind of person. I have been a Caregiver for many years and enjoy being able to help people who can't help themselves. Each patient has history behind everything else. They are special and deserve someone who will listen to them and care for them the way they should be. It gives me joy to see the patient smile and happy and comfortable where ever they may be. It is a huge thing for a patient to be moved from where they've lived all there lives and be place in a facility that is unformiliar. Making them feel comfortable and safe is so important! Becoming a RN has been my goal for many years. I have completed 2 years of College and received my Associates Degree in Biology. Ive completed my 4 yr BSN. Every year I set a goal. This year I am working on learning how to speak Spanish. I feel it's important to continue with trying to achieve different goals. Also working on my Masters now. I am a family person! I love being with my family and spending quality time together. It's harder to get everyone together at once. My 2 older boys are College students now so they have their own lives. We enjoy our dinner time together. This is a great time for all of us to share our stories. Family time is important. I love my job as a Nurse.
