I consider myself an outstanding caregiver because I have a passion for providing assistance to elderly patients who are not able to care and provide for themselves. I find joy knowing I can help the elderly and those who don't have family to care for them. Basic everyday duties don't come easy for all people and knowing that I have the ability to help them do what they lack the ability to brings me joy; I began my career as a Caregiver / CNA in 1983 and that opportunity allowed me the ability to fulfill the needs of the elderly by bathing , feeding , washing their hair and preparing them for the day ahead. I would purchase clothes as well as personal items such as socks to keep there feet warm in the cold winter nights. It has been a joy to me since then as I've progressed in my career as a professional caregiver. My desire is to do so much more. I currently work for University General Hospital and have been there for 8 years. I plan to continue my passion as a caregiver / CNA, looking for something fulltime . What makes me a great caregiver my passion for taking care of elderly people, has been a joy to me for years.
