I am honest, hardworking, and have a heart for taking care of people. I have been with the same lady since 2003 and she has become family. She passed away this month. I plan on finishing nursing school as soon as my kids are all in school. I feel like my calling is to take care of people.
Patience when it comes to my clients understanding their particular needs and the needs of the family being prompt scheduling time management Thinking Out of the Box not every client is a cookie-cutter situation clients and family needs first and foremost being a liaison between some family members and doctors all around Healthcare being a private caregiver as its own Rewards
I believe the qualities that make me a great caregiver are patience, compassion and attentiveness. These qualities are essential in assisting a patient at their bedside in their time of need. As stressful it can be for someone who no longer has the physical ability they once had, there needs to be someone who is understanding and empathetic to their desires to ensure comfort. My interest in becoming a caregiver comes from being the one my grandparents call on for help. I strongly believe in giving back to the community and equal effort for all ages of those in stand in the need of care. My enjoyment stems from seeing interacting and seeing my patients smile. I'm proud of the fact that step by step I'm making an impact on my patients as they always ask to see me again. Once I secure the peace of mind in my patients' families hearts and minds, my job is complete.
I love to laugh and put my all into my clients to make sure they receive the best care possible. I love the one on one care with the client and love to see smiling faces which tells me I'm doing an excellent job caring for my client. I love building the trust within the family and the client's. My last client was diagnosed with PSP which is a neurological disease that affects the brain for 6 months until he recently passed. I consider myself a caregiver who wears my heart on my sleeve.

I made the decision to become a caregiver after my grandmother passed from Alzheimer's. I know firsthand what a family expects from a caregiver. I'm extremely patient, compassionate, empathetic, honest and a caring person. My organizational skills are excellent for medication or bill paying needs.
My grandmother and I have a very close relationship. I love going and visiting her as much as I can. My mom used to work in a senior home and I loved to go up there and bring her dinner and get to talk to the elderly she was watching at the time. If you choose me, you won't regret it. I'm here for support, companionship, and any needs to be taken care of.
