I attended Career Point College in 2013 and completed my CNA certification with a 4.0 GPA. I also was apart of the LVN program there as well, but I did not complete it. While at Career Point, we did go to different facilities to practice skills and get our certifications. I have worked in a variety of different settings; hospitals, nursing homes, memory care units, facilities for adults with disabilities, and I have done a lot of home care. During my experience in the facilities, I gained hands-on experience in providing care and company to disabled and elderly clients. I have a demonstrated ability to administer bedside and personal attention to clients including aid in ambulation, bathing, personal cleanliness, and dressing and undressing. Also, I am very expert in preparing meals and special diets and helping in feeding clients. I am experienced with using lifts, transferring and lifting. As a compassionate and trustworthy individual, I can perform regular health-related activities including changing non-sterile dressings and managing medications. I am also adept at performing routine household duties; laundry, washing dishes and making beds. I care for everyone as if they were my own sweet grandma.
