HI my name is Cookie, I love being a caregiver knowing I can bring love, compassion, and the very best care for your love one. I have done private home health care and Hospice for the last five years as well as working for a caregiving company. I have sat in methodist hospital and Kender hospital taking care of loved ones, I have a knowledge of dialysis, tracheotomy, feeding tube, dementia, Alzheimer's, post polio, transfers, medication management, physical therapy, Diabetes Bathing, cleaning, cooking. What I love about being a caregiver is knowing that I'm giving someone a quality of life to the best of my ability, not to make them feel like they're disabled but let them know that I'm there to assist, And that sometimes we all need help. I always try to put a smile on their face I'm very positive. I have worked with hospice patients for the last three years, and I have been able to let them enjoy what little life they've had left, by managing their medication.
