About Cora

Very early in my life I been in law enforcement like in the the 80's. That it's when I found out allot about myself that I love helping people and animals. Help my mother fight breast cancer and got her thought that than bone cancer came yesterday later. Hospice came in and I saw what and how very caring they were and got me to thinking about getting into it. So I started working in nurse homes and than with hospice pt. Love to make people laugh even when they don't think don't think they don't feel like it....lol

I went out two patients homes and did light housekeeping and paired meals help them take baths dressed them played cards with them. Made them feel comfortable and reassured their family how they were feeling or if there was a change in their moves or their pain so they are aware of it.

With his progression of the disease our family had to make a choice and decided it was in his best interest to be in a facility. By the grace of god he is well taken care. During this time I made decision to go to nursing school to become a licensed nurse. Having gone through the process and working in assisted living facilities I became well aware of the elderly and all the help that was needed, especially with companionship. A lot of patients have no family to visit or family that has no interest to visit. This has become very close to my heart and the joy I get to be able to spend with these patients is as rewarding as it gets. I enjoy being able to provide the skills I have learned and to provide the assistance and respite care that a family needs.
