What make me be a great caregiver is the compassion and love that I have for people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was when I worked in the laundry at a nursing home and when I would take the residents their clothes and their call light would be on waiting for someone to help them, but no one would come, I would try and help them. That's when I decided to go get my CNA license. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is listening to my client talk about the good old days and their family and watch their eyes light up and see the smile on their face.
