I absolutely love being a caregiver, and love each patient I come in contact with. My main objective as a caregiver is giving my patient assurance that I am there to help them, to lift the feeling of being burden off their shoulders. I've been called cheerleader on occasion because I also love to uplift and encourage , even when they are doing the small task.... My grandmother was my inspiration, due to her fight with Alzheimer's/ Dementia back in 2005-2008... During that time I and other family member alternated caring for her within her home, however eventually had to resort to admitting her into an assisted living facility due the progression of the disease and cancer and needing 24 hour care her remaining days. Since I have a soft spot for the elderly suffering with disease and gained a passion to erraticate it
