I love helping others, that is why I am still pursuing a career in health care. I find it very rewarding to help people and feel a sense of accomplishment by doing so. I am still an online student during the evenings, that is why I am available mornings and afternoons. I am very organized and have time management skills. I pay close attention to detail when it comes to medical instructions. I like to keep good communications with the families that are in care of a loved one. I feel it is important to keep an active lifestyle by routine exercise, going to the grocery store, shopping and staying on top of Doctor's visits. I love to get out of the house when it is needed or instructed.

I have the ability to make people feel at ease right away and I'm a good listener. I love to have them reminisce. What first attracted me to being a caregiver was as a child between ages 10-14 yrs, the family was living in a neighborhood with several seniors and my mother would send us (me and 5 sisters) the seniors in the area every Saturday to help around the house and the yards. So the compassion for seniors comes natural because it came early in life. Than later in life I got laid-off and was in the grocery and was wondering what I would do next, than I saw a elderly lady trying to pull a vegetable bag off a roll and went to help her. Than I through how often I felt compelled to help seniors in the stores, That is when I started looking into caregiving and I love it , its very rewarding, A personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I worked for a women the was angry and didn't say much. So I asked the daughter what were her hobby or did she enjoy doing? She loved to garden but the heat was hard on her. So I started bring indoor plants and now she love that and there is better oxygen in the air and she is happier and loves repotting and giving plants to friends,
