1. One of the main reasons that I became a caregiver is because I have a love for caring and nurturing people back to their optimal level of health.. 2. What I love about being a caregiver is that I receive an opportunity to bond with the patient/ resident through providing quality service and assistance to the patient/resident's needs. 3.Some of the main achievements that I'm proud of is that I've never had a complaint of my service during the 15 year period of being certified as a nurse assistant. In addition, I'm proud of how I've maintained a respectful and positive relationship with the patients/residents that I've rendered service for. Lastly, I'm proud of how I've been one of the few to complete high school in my family, second to achieve an Associate's degree, and attend graduate school. 4. I am a 33 year old, single parent of two adorable children. I have been employed as a C.N.A. (Certified Nurse Assistant)/restorative aid for 15 years, and employed as a psychiatric technician for 13 years. I've rendered service to various hospitals, acute care, rehabilitation, and skilled care institutions. I have also worked as a home health aid within the Houston area. I have experience in geriatric care, brain/spinal cord injury care, oncology, postpartum, pallative, pediatric,and rehabilitation.
