I am outgoing with a great sense of humor. I'm willing to help anyone in need and when I'm in, I'm all in. I am happy and have been told I have a funny personality. I am easy to talk to and a good listener. I understand people and I make friends easily, I consider myself to be very social. I am easy going. I am willing to help anyone at any time, but I do not like to be taken advantage of. I have good leadership qualities and am confident of myself. I'm able to keep a calm and level head whenever I am in situations of stress. I would like to consider myself someone who can relate to anyone and any culture and background. It allows me to make very personal connections with everyone I meet. I would tell them that I'm an honest and hardworking individual. I am usually busy and like to pursue my goals wholeheartedly. After seeing my grandmother and grandfather in assisted living facilities without proper companionship or care from their caregivers and nurses I made the decision to make a difference. 8 years ago my father was diagnosed with Dementia. With his progression of the disease our family had to make a choice and decided it was in his best interest to be in a facility. By the grace of god he is well taken care. During this time I made decision to go to nursing school to become a licensed nurse. Having gone through the process and working in assisted living facilities I became well aware of the elderly and all the help that was needed, especially with companionship. A lot of patients have no family to visit or family that has no interest to visit. This has become very close to my heart and the joy I get to be able to spend with these patients is as rewarding as it gets. I enjoy being able to provide the skills I have learned and to provide the assistance and respite care that a family needs.
