My ability as a strong caregiver goes beyond the call of duty as a dependable and trustworthy person that always thinks about how can I go further into improving myself educationally into what I need to become a better me in the healthcare field. Even though I am greatly experienced in healthcare, I know that I always have potential for growth. I am knowledgeable, punctual, and attentive to detail in whatever I do. I became a caregiver because it is my gift. My professional career began 20 years ago in the healthcare industry. When I was 19 my husband suffered a massive stroke. I then learned being a caregiver was a second nature skill and desire. All of my clients appreciate that I am patient, compassionate, dependable and meticulous in the ways that I care for them. I live in the Austin area and have immediate availability. While I am not CNA certified, I do have all the nursing experience as well as nutrition and personal training. Blessings to you and your family.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to relate to the needs of my clients base on individuality. I am very compassionate towards my clients. I try my very best to understand their needs and find a solution to it. I became a caregiver not only to help people who are at a disadvantage but rather because I care about people and enjoy being a part of their lives. For many years I've lived away from my father, but the moment I received a phone call that he had a stroke I dropped everything and went to care for him until he recovered. That alone shows how caring and concern I am about people who are unable to care for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to bring a smile on the faces of my clients no matter what moods they are in for that particular day. I go to an extended mile to make sure that their needs are met and that they are taken good care of and happy. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to graduate college. Both my parents are illiterate and for me to be the first out of four siblings to go to college and graduate was a very good accomplishment for me. And with what I have learned and experience I will continue to strive in what I love the most; that is helping people.

I became a care giver because I love people & want to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy being a caregiver because I feel we all will need help one of these days. I lived with my Mother for 9 years because she had Dementia/ Alzheimers. I was in a Auto Accident with my Daughter & it was a my worse nightmare, I had to walk with a walker,i had to sit on the steps just to go up 12 steps to go to the bathroom I rehabbed to my Mothers' house to help me and watch her. She was great, always trying to make my struggle easier, but I was proud and needed to do for myself most of the time. I loved her for being her. A nursing home in Bay Shore gave her too much drugs that made her have a stroke, Her Dr there came in only 1 day weekly, the nursing home didn't send her to the ER until 4 days later. She died on Jan 4, 2008. She's my HERO and Angel in Heaven.
