Growing up initially i wanted to be a teacher because i liked kids but ironically I did not like school. But as I've grown older I realize I used to like children until I had my own . So now I don't like children and hate school. When I moved to Kansas the workforce center told me about this short 2 month college program to get this nurse aide license and it wasn't a scam. I tried it and loved it!! I am sooo ecstatic when I'm around my seniors I love them!! They look forward to me coming by and spending time with them. Taking care of them and just being there with them; , but they do not know how much they do this same exact things for me! I have shared so many laughs with my patients/ residents/ clients and have grown to love them dearly as if they are my own grandmother, (which i am very very close to by the way) and I go home and share all the funny things they say to me to my children. Since working with mostly the elderly, but not only them; I've also worked with mentally challenged individuals, rehab patients such as, paralyzed and/or bed ridden patients, patients that have been amputated, or just gotten out of surgery due to some kind of cancer, no matter their situation I've learned that I want to advance in Healthcare! Currently I am attending classes mon thru fri 8am-1230pm to be a medical assistant. But the best part is through this college with this course i don't just get my medical assistant cert. This school grants you 5 certifications along with that 1!!! I am sooo excited and grateful to soon be a EKG, Phlebotomy, clinical administrative, medical assistant, and of course BLS Certified woman!! I would love to be your Happily well experienced Caregiver!!
