About Brittany

Hello!! My names Brittany, I have over 10 years experience as a caregiver. The first 4 years of my career was with the state of Texas. I am currently seeking new patients as being in this field with elderly that's 1 of the downfalls, I do prefer to work with elderly but will help wherever is needed. Even just for advice or random questions, no question is stupid. I always highly recommend asking no matter how small it may seem. Their wellbeing is key and im willing to help in anyway I can, so please don't hesitate to ask day or night. I might not respond immediately, I do get busy especially with my family but should within 24hours. I have family, patient, co workers and business references upon request. I will first send coworkers and business, that's mainly so families and patients arent bothered as much but can still help me and your family decide I'm a right fit. Take a look at my profile and if you have any questions please, dont hesitate to ask. I am passionate about caregiving and very proud of my strong work ethic. I love to laugh, and go above and beyond as I would if it was my mom. She's been a nurse my entire life and also pitches in with me caregiving but she to has fun with it. Thank you so much and hope to hear back soon ~~~Britt

I am currently a student studying Kinesiology at the University at North Texas. After undergrad I am planning to go to medical school to become a doctor. I would describe myself as honest and optimistic who is a punctual and reliable person. I have a drive for caring for others and building long-term relationships with people I meet throughout life. I became interested in becoming a caregiver after helping take care of my grandparents who struggle with dementia related diseases and am looking to help other seniors while gaining experience in the caregiving/medical field.

My care giving career actually started as a teenager volunteering in a nursing home. I didn't realize it at the time, but that experience made a big impact. I think the thing that drew me was caring for the people. I think what makes a great caregiver is someone who is empathetic and has the heart for caring for someone else. Someone who wants to make a difference in someone's life. I discovered that there is an art to caregiving. It is something that I have satisfaction from. I have been a professional caregiver for 3 years now. I have worked with a couple of local agencies during that time. I have completed 1 year of nursing school. I am available during the day. Usually 6a to 2p, or 7a to 3p Mon - Fri. Some weekends as needed. Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance.
