Hello I'm Nakia I'm 26 years old I'm a college student studying education I love elderly people and children. Everyone.... I have I recently lost a very special person in my life which was my grandmother. She died in February of this year. She raised me and as she got older I stepped up and started to take care of her. She got to where she could not walk and plus she had dementia and heart failure. So my grandmother needed extra support and help and I was that for her. The best thing for me was just taking care of her knowing that I know I will be older one day and I would love for someone to take care of me. Everyone needs someone at one point in life. I watched her hair every morning be ther so my grandmother needed extra support and help and I was that for her. I wash her hair, bath her , fed her every morning before I had to go to school or work. She had help during the day when I was gone but I always came back that evening and I did this for a year and a half until she died. I enjoy keeping her company to an elderly person I believe that you can learn so much from Them because of everything they have experienced in life.
